What good is a beautiful site that you are not able to update, is not functional and not useful.

We firmly believe that websites should be easy to update, contain useful features and be very useful.  We have all encountered beautiful websites that have not been updated for years and are not useful.  These days, websites must be professional, contain current or updated information, be easy to navigate and provide useful information.  Your site is often the first impression that a potential client or donor will have of your business / organization.  Therefore, it is important that you present a polished and professional image that will draw the client or donor in - rather than make then speedily close the window or click 'back".

In terms of development there are 3 or more approaches you can take:

1.  Develop your site from scratch using a text editor (not recommended and not for the faint of heart and people who are not technologically savvy)

2.  Develop your site using a template.  We can provide access to free templates that you can use to develop your site.  There are also many sites online that offer free and paid templates such as boxedart.com.

3.  Develop your site using a content management system.  Here again there are free and paid systems that you can use.  We recommend using a content mangement system for the reasons outlined below.

Drupal offers hundreds of modules and themes (templates) that make it easy to add custom "contact us" forms, sell products online, change the theme of your entire site ... and sort and display your conent in many different ways.   By using the drupal platform, your site will be built on a solid foundation that will support the future growth of site - whether you have 10 visitors a day or 1,000 visitors an hour.
